My Evaluation on the Neo native

in the beginning of this project I decided to base my  theme on sci-fi  part to be exact Nuance sci-fi art style by collection of variety of different topics and researchers on the subject to give a better understanding of the concept as I am basing my dissertation around the idea of the sci-fi how it affects sci-fi in modern time I thought was imperative and a great idea to base a negotiated project on this topic.

but then I hit a wall can really come to terms with the idea of drawn space spaceman in aliens are just corrupt word run the concept and from their side began to struggle with an idea based from the same theme  so  I decided to have a break and for the next two weeks I decided to draw things I enjoyed and kept my work really loose and worked with a lot of new techniques to sort help me find a way out of the dryer spot.

reflected on a variety of artists using certain aspects and being inspired by a variety of different artists from different time zones and even TV shows of the period of variety of curtains bad the illuminating effect of the 80s our movement. a lot of variety of different art movements the one that really had my eye was the 80s sci-fi movement by side moved on I decided that it wasn't the artwork that really fascinated me about the 80s sci-fi movement it was illuminating and toxic colours.

I used a variety of different techniques war on technique that still uppermost on that use a lot of was printing I would stay in the print room throughout was just practising and stood in new ways of printing I use a lot of screen printing techniques for this project as I was doing a lot of blended to talk washed out work when it came to do Monday of woman prints I experimented with splats fingerpainting and using a variety of different colours to understand and bind certain aspects of the project together.

as got the project in law and let the lot of things to last-minute I wish I could've experiment a lot more with my ideas and concepts by really happy with the final outcome really happy with how it's capably by were sure experimented with more illustrations amid a variety of more products but I will be patching this because I will have two weeks before London saw I have ordered a variety of new products to screenprint and print on before we sell I will work on the market stall.

 my  is evaluation

I used a variety of different elements to my project from  from our research  I looked at a variety of different techniques and processes that I feel would work well toward my project a lot of variety of different tattoo  flash and  printing techniques.  towards my concept's added a variety of drawing at first and then I used the traditional speech and process and black ink to Shore tournament in my work then I took my work in a photoshop shop and then bit  map  and then took it in the print room to experiment with Riley of different printing process such as   finger  painting and ink onto the screen fingerpainting variety of different other techniques I feel worked well within the Prints and sure within  my work I feel that works well  but there are aspects of my work I feel like I could have worked a little harder and experimented a lot more.

I use traditional processes such as Flash parenting because I feel that this worked really well in my process and the shaded areas when taken into digital work really worked well and created really nice shadows for screen printing so I used this technique because the ball this and strongest technique in which  really made my work stood up and looks unique and different because I was using the technique that was years before I wanted to ensure that it had a certain level of unique  to it

I am really happy with the final outcomes by feel there are certain aspects of my work that could have been explored more  but with this two weeks before the London  market  I feel that I can explore with a variety of different processes and techniques to make my concept even stronger as I haven't used a lot of branding within my project I feel this would be a good and important aspect of my project so I will decide I understand to create a variety of more products such as hats smaller bags and  smaller prints that can be sold as a package to make my concepts and a lot more and also with my last project I had high praise line work from some well-known artists such as Dan Mumford and  drew  so I will try and find a balance between the heavy printing process  to create submit a lot more unique and what will stand out as my own work overall  I'm really happy with this project and I am excited to take it to higher levels in the future.

I will show you is a lot more research as I left a lot of my work to last-minute it was important to really focus my ideas and processes towards printing and making sure that my project really stood out from other students on the course or I really went big  and this is one of the biggest projects to date in the future I feel I could work a lot bigger and a lot faster and use a lot more processes.

clothing development
after the success of the talk about in the last poste i have now  moved on to create in a variety of T-shirts I didn't want to use its stereotypical design with the native head in the native school but I've used a variety of different designs so I wanted to use  some considerable symbolic so decided to go with the idea of using an animal tried to the little better research into the back stories of these native animals and ultimately use the stereotypical wolf or do you design so for little bit  outside the box after watching one of the essential reforms it was clear that the bat would be one of the best ideas sunk so comical and symbolic really interested me so the bat was a symbolic meaning in itself using this design  would be a great idea for a T-shirt I started by designing a couple of possible outcomes to was happy with the final, when fresh simple traditional styled using the spirit shouldn't technique to filling the gaps before I screenprinted it  I want for the simple peacock blue neon pink that have used within my Prints  and this is the possible outcomes of some of the teacher designed I'm really happy with the outcomes and with using the simple colours it really links in with the print design and tour bike designed that I've created so far.

bags and design development

bags and design development

research that I have collected this is what  comes in out  of the designs I am really happy with  from using the research I've collected on traditional artists and traditional To flash at this I use a traditional process of split shading the shed numbskull was what I use it and used a black marker to fill in parts that will help shore shape within the image the school reflects the native collective that I started the neo-native and after designing and inking the design I will be bid mapping  the design that will be going on to bags

at the turn of the design on for shop this is the final product using a two tone of colours that I feel happy to call 80s new or native I've chosen the pink neon pink  and peacock blue from research I've collected based round the 80s collective and I am happy with the final product and I will also be creating a collection of prints and also one of Prince that will be sold alongside the bad design within my next post at the talk about the Prints i be making and I will also be selling the bags at  London.

80s sticker packs

80s  sticker packs

from a clear idea in the direction I wanted to go in and through of experimentation and drawn designs that have come up with a decided to look at a lot of 80 retro sticker packs that I fought really worked well one and do a promotional pack around the idea of the Neill native project I think a great idea and a great way to promote yourself  through stickers  tax so this is just a variety of 80 sticker packs from around that time which I thought was helpful this really help me knuckle down my colour palette and really help me understand what was retro around the time of the 80s and what I feel I could bring back up-to-date with a new exciting approach.

80s skate decks art

80s skate decks art

another thing that helped me decide and help me onto the right path in my creative process was to skateboard designs and skateboard deck from around the 80s looking at a variety of different brands that made skateboards at this time was really inspiring was a line prior to help me pick my colour palette for my project will be experimenting with variety of different colours and experimenting with printing techniques to help me to find my drawn processes and to find a way around and to help me find my process towards this project within the next post I will be discussing a variety of eyes that have helped me approach my project so far and where my project is going.

some of the decks are really inspired me up so far as the neon colours this will really fascinated towards the 80s style and needs to the colours that I will be using in my process neon pink and the beautiful peacock blue.

drawing ideals and concepts #3

drawing ideals and concepts #3

update on more by drawings after really going on the idea of using the native is a concept and foundation to build  creative work on decided this stretch my experimentation a little more usually been using tanks and really trying to find the balance and professional standard and way of working around them. but this can get really repetitive and really stressful to help me relieve my stress I decided to try pro markers and  sharpie is just playing around in colour and in some of my designs to give it a funky feel more than 80s retro feel.

underneath are some of the designs are being played around with I feel this really works in the squad play towards my final outcome bought a one law until I do a little bit more experimentation shall be played around with sharpie's and inks and sit back and find a balance between the screenprinting aspect of  my creative.

signalnoise artists research

signalnoise artists research

to try and keep the line with the native and not issue at all the different path I really wanted to keep the negative aspect book add a teaspoon coloured so did a lot more as research and from the site is called signal noise and is our work was really inspiring highlight how we used 80s themed processes  using for  illustrated techniques this is just a variety of his work I found inspiring  and help me find a creative way through the design and concept that I want you to  see a experiment with screen printing processes and really get into the cultural side of my concept.

also looking at a variety of text packs that is created to help me find an understanding in the neon ways this is really helped me a lot and help me find some craven to set the standard and beyond the subject I'll be covering and I can now finally move on from this creative block and finally knuckled down in my work and just start to really enjoyed the work that I will be doing. a found out that experimenting and really playing with the idea and just really enjoying it really helps  my creative process and develop some of my keen  designs.

David Beckham poster by James White

Despite my being horridly overworked this last while, I couldn’t turn down this opportunity. The awesome team at Bleacher Report wanted me combine the styles of my 2 DRIVE posters into one illustration, pushing Beckham into a ‘James Bond’ icon with a distinct Miami vibe. I’ve been using this colour palette for months now, so this was a perfect match to my current workflow.

What an exciting day. I’m thrilled to be included in Photoshop’s 25th Anniversary celebration with Lynda.comScott Erickson from the Lynda office flew into Dartmouth amid a crazy snowstorm last month to shoot a mini documentary in my studio as I worked on an original poster celebrating Photoshop.
I was allowed to do whatever I wanted, so decided to take inspiration from cheesy Trapper Keeper binders I saw when I was a kid and create the mighty Laser Horse poster. This is the kind of bullcrap I make when I’m given carte blanche… heads up you big brands. Scott and I got into the nuts and bolts of how I created the image, some tips and tricks along with some of my halfwit design philosophy on creating stuff with an 80’s aesthetic.
