80s skate decks art

80s skate decks art

another thing that helped me decide and help me onto the right path in my creative process was to skateboard designs and skateboard deck from around the 80s looking at a variety of different brands that made skateboards at this time was really inspiring was a line prior to help me pick my colour palette for my project will be experimenting with variety of different colours and experimenting with printing techniques to help me to find my drawn processes and to find a way around and to help me find my process towards this project within the next post I will be discussing a variety of eyes that have helped me approach my project so far and where my project is going.

some of the decks are really inspired me up so far as the neon colours this will really fascinated towards the 80s style and needs to the colours that I will be using in my process neon pink and the beautiful peacock blue.

update on more by drawings after really going on the idea of using the native is a concept and foundation to build  creative work on decided this stretch my experimentation a little more usually been using tanks and really trying to find the balance and professional standard and way of working around them. but this can get really repetitive and really stressful to help me relieve my stress I decided to try pro markers and  sharpie is just playing around in colour and in some of my designs to give it a funky feel more than 80s retro feel.

underneath are some of the designs are being played around with I feel this really works in the squad play towards my final outcome bought a one law until I do a little bit more experimentation shall be played around with sharpie's and inks and sit back and find a balance between the screenprinting aspect of  my creative.

signalnoise artists research

signalnoise artists research

to try and keep the line with the native and not issue at all the different path I really wanted to keep the negative aspect book add a teaspoon coloured so did a lot more as research and from the site is called signal noise and is our work was really inspiring highlight how we used 80s themed processes  using for  illustrated techniques this is just a variety of his work I found inspiring  and help me find a creative way through the design and concept that I want you to  see a experiment with screen printing processes and really get into the cultural side of my concept.

also looking at a variety of text packs that is created to help me find an understanding in the neon ways this is really helped me a lot and help me find some craven to set the standard and beyond the subject I'll be covering and I can now finally move on from this creative block and finally knuckled down in my work and just start to really enjoyed the work that I will be doing. a found out that experimenting and really playing with the idea and just really enjoying it really helps  my creative process and develop some of my keen  designs.

David Beckham poster by James White

Despite my being horridly overworked this last while, I couldn’t turn down this opportunity. The awesome team at Bleacher Report wanted me combine the styles of my 2 DRIVE posters into one illustration, pushing Beckham into a ‘James Bond’ icon with a distinct Miami vibe. I’ve been using this colour palette for months now, so this was a perfect match to my current workflow.

What an exciting day. I’m thrilled to be included in Photoshop’s 25th Anniversary celebration with Lynda.comScott Erickson from the Lynda office flew into Dartmouth amid a crazy snowstorm last month to shoot a mini documentary in my studio as I worked on an original poster celebrating Photoshop.
I was allowed to do whatever I wanted, so decided to take inspiration from cheesy Trapper Keeper binders I saw when I was a kid and create the mighty Laser Horse poster. This is the kind of bullcrap I make when I’m given carte blanche… heads up you big brands. Scott and I got into the nuts and bolts of how I created the image, some tips and tricks along with some of my halfwit design philosophy on creating stuff with an 80’s aesthetic.

the native women deign one of three

 The Native Women

to play around with different ideas and new concepts for new ideas that I could base my 80 coloured  theme concept of  one of the designs at register of me was the native woman and after decided to base my new project around natives producing 80s themed colours that were used in 80s classic sci-fi art.

at the come up with an idea and playing around with the different concepts for the native woman designs I really wanted to keep this design from being generic so research will be in the native women concepts and native women at a lot of things that room, plays traditional taboo artwork so I wanted to really stay away from that saw I played around with a couple of ideas that I thought would be appropriate for the design

one cannot register of me was Pam work so I decided to incorporate this in my design and I looked at a lot of native patterns and cultural patterns that relate to run the subject of the native and I took a mixture in a variety of different patterns from a variety of different cultural  movements and tried to make a balance within one drawing.

after I was happy with the design side shaded really wanted this traditional so I did a variety of different shades and techniques by one with the bald brought by heavily shading patterned areas to show detail in the face and adding pattern work around the outside of the image to really given depth.

drawing ideals and concepts #2

drawing ideals and concepts #2

really playing with the idea of using the traditional process of traditional flash  Tatooine I decided to purchase  some inks by doing a lot of research  on the topic and what a lot of videos of artists using this traditional way of working. I started to put together some designs and use really luminous colours that will brighten up the design itself.

is not using this we have working for a really want to push the boundaries and try new and exciting ideas so as I've never done portraiture before I decided to do a few warmup drawings and warmup Inc paintings and decided to do portraits of some of my favourite characters from films to help me warm up to the idea of using this traditional process. critically I feel isn't great but with a lot of practice and a lot of time put and I feel I can make this process my own by binding it with luminous colours.

and a lot more drawing playground with more ideas just really haven't fallen getting back to my roots and really enjoy my work I feel this was the best way to help me from a block from creative block is a tough thing and try and overcome it by drawing  things that I really like drawing really helped me, and my comfort zone and help me pursue clear ideas that I feel I could use in this new way of working in my concept.

I also played around with a couple blending and try to find what colours worked colours didn't I found that some colours when mixed together bled became muddy on the paper saw added a lot more research into paper on what works with the inks and what doesn't work the links so as you can see on the right the page this was me testing a variety of different processes out on different types of paper to see which work the bests.

really stand and understand how this way of working comes together and binding colours and seeing what works and what doesn't work drawing native and cultural trance with her sense of Tatooine flash important results this really helped me get pencil paper I'm really excited to pursue this process in more depth and is really get stuck into this project had on.
