tracing my designs

 Tracing my designs

after alot of research  and developing  my designs to meet the creatures I was happy with my magazine or zine design  I was happy  with how my drawing came out I was happy to move on the final step to achieve this I get the variety of images that I was going to use a magazine, Constantina and then trace them ablution to tracing paper to make them easier to expose when it comes to screen printing my designs and the chosen layout.

zine building part 1

 Zine building part one

Today I started by putting together a variety of mockups of scenes and Constantine fall which I feel more successful in my research taken my illustrations before finalising them and placing them with imagery that reflects and bounces off each other.

I put a brave images together that I feel reflect and bounce off each other and give it a good feel on the page as you can see in this image I have placed an overpowering image and a simple image to give more space on the page.

this one over the portrayal of a character together to give its emphasis on a bigger charm to the page will take my images in the print room 12 the final process, I will take into consideration designs are close together before printing and put my zine in the final stages.

with designer frock completely different feel  of a different approach towards design  instead of the zine  how about Constantine  design I feel this one shows of the images and a lot more detail and as a full you can see the journey between each image and the constant struggle has tried to reflect on the work I feel the process so far as strong and with the final ski in place colour will not be a problem in the design itself will be finished unhappy with the process so far.

drawing part 2

I'll be talking about my range of images within this post time about how feel and how feel where a mat with this process so  a beating in consideration the research that I have gathered the last couple weeks and talk about how I've force this on my drive and how I feel about the process that I have achieved so far.

so from my research  I have gathered I've come up with a range of images that I feel have worked so far  I've taken motions and  fears  and tried to render images real suit my concept I feel that this is successful and I'm really happy with the overall outcome and the process of design has come out my research this is probably one of my strongest range of images to date.

The design you can see I based around self-conscious and believing  not believe in your appearance I feel I have achieved this for the use of research and process in drawing a  wide  range of concepts to see how my drawing would come to life on the page as I start designing the final outcome for this  drawing.

away wasn't all easy I was stuck for a while thinking how can I take my research and things are really have inspired me and pushed into a process I feel suits my current style in the restriction industry so it was a long journey and it was a long process but I feel that my design so far reflect me as a person has an bit wacky and I am a bit crazy.

up close and personal to my designs these are properly two of my favourites from the selection of images I've designed so far one (as in self-conscious and won the right is self-conscious ball the twist born left represents fearing yourself  self-doubt and the one on the left is obviously which I spoke about in the last design self-conscious.

drawing process part1

drawing process part 1

so this were my  drawing  process has began I start by  looking  of radio struggles which humanity suffer with twisted in what  fearful creature of the tenure through some of my drawings and explaining the idea behind the drawing.

creature one  self image t is a key struggle that humanity go through on a day-to-day basis in which people or a person struggles with being unsatisfied with their self sublease is a constant struggle and I feel was a good idea to create a creature made up a variety of creepy faces crazy hair I feel this image is a success and that process I will be following in my creation toward my other creatures.

creature to  arachnophobia in which a person is afraid of spiders I feel this is a good fear to pursue the creator creature which is made up of limbs and spider legs and also added the sea creatures body parts like a crab claw i was really inspired by the David Jonesfrom the movie series pose the Caribbean be one of my favourite films individuals been an inspiration towards my work I've looked at a variety of creatures from the film of really inspired me my journey so far t.

creature three self belief another struggle that people go through on a day-to-day basis create the serpent in which each faces different this goes with the idea of self-image and is one my favourite design so far really enjoyed doing this idea and the struggles of humanities are really good process the following.

another creature considered a design process is a clown fear a lot of people struggle with so this clown would have to be completely different from creatures I have designed so far in which I would make a lot happier than the original design happy clown as a group, my eyes and I feel this is a good path towards this final outcome.

Welcome to the zero friend club

Welcome to the zero friend  club book I have previously bought from Amazon now that if you were to of some the ice since Yahweh as inspired me on my journey.

This week I bought a variety of new books that i  could  or will help me with my creative process and help me develop my designs to a professional standard give me some ideas in which I can develop my process to give the professional look. Were the books I bought was the zero friend club  this a variety of different artists  from Los Angeles specially Skinner and Alex pardee. Two artists that I've discovered while doing research for my zine.

Some artwork from the book itself this artist use a variety of media Israelis work bullies especially known for ink and beer mixing the two together to create a composition in which you can see in the following image. I really like his use of line and is clean finish to all of his work but this has a type  of realism and it's some think that I haven't followed within my process.

Love rise from the book I really liked  the big fan of classic all  horror posters and this really stood out from me no one is used to process itself when the process disclose a really cool design fought I  show .

Moving on one of my favourite artists probably one of my fee rise of this book Skinner. An artist born in Los Angeles is a crazy imagination I love the process itself I put into every piece of work a mixture of graffiti spray paints and ball incline work which he finishes off to a extreme detail to his pieces of art.

Probably my favourite you can clearly see why his attention to detail and process his creatures themselves tell a story which I've tried to shore in my work booked and discomfort stand-alone characters which follow a pattern within my work I've followed the artist on you Tube and looked at a variety of these videos and followed his process.

More work from the amazing Skinner. I just really love his work on the on the DL are causing just make among creature is really impressive in its and I would love to pursue with not having enough time off until a back on a lot of detail in which I feel isn't relevant for the time being bought as this process progresses I would love to learn more about his process in which he creates his fantastic creatures.

the awful residents researc

Welcome to the  awful  residents

Another one of the books I bought this is the awful residence by Alex pardee. In this blog post of the surely through this book and of right images I've picked out that I feel helped me with my artistic process towards my zine design.

Alex was anther artist  that was born in Los Angeles and is well known phrase large-scale creatures that he creates from using simple processes like watercolours inks spray paints you name it he used it. Probably one of the most inspiring outside come across so far.

I think this is fascinating about the artits he works with splats of ink that it creates on the page only links's creature which he feels could achieve the possible final outcome I feel this is great and it links back to my original work that I used to do in first year of uni when I used to work with a lot of inks this could possibly take me back to that experimenting in a lot more deaths and get my line spot on to give me the best outcome possible.

This is some of his large-scale work and also on the left-hand side is the original design for the final outcome. One of his most famous pieces which I feel is the best piece in the book is the one that he did the famous actors wall. The actor goes by the name of Shyla booth and after that was one of the rails last year. But we created large-scale piece of work in this act is holds which I reveal reflects the actor himself.

And this is probably why picked this ice is creature work is far above any of rice that I've known and it really getting inspired a draw the use of colour in the process that goes behind these weird and wonderful creatures is amazing and I've followed this ice on his process and tried to experiment with some of my own processes that I feel could. Help me out in my creative process and development stage of my zine. But because I just amazing love the fact that he uses bright bold beautiful colours to such an island and discussed a looking creature the balance works really well. Something I feel I should pursue when it comes to my work

zines research part 1

this week I looked over i.e. scenes magazines and design layouts for Constantine design I collected all of leaflets and zine to get a clear idea  of how Constantine layout could be achieved.  I also looked at a lot of self published zines  to help me with my idea to give me a clear idea of how I could achieve my goal. with me doing to briefs has come clear that my zine is going to be the most important part. so  so I have to get this right

just a couple of the leaflets and zines that I've collected over the last few days

and the same again with this image I loved all aspects of my design to give me a clear of idea to help me and give me a clear understanding of how the zine works with this being my first seen is crucial that I do my research right so like this post I'll be looking at a variety of zines magazines to help me achieve my goal in this brief.
this was a zine by personally collected from travel man  me and Mike and a group of friends from the course we got the train down to Newcastle and had a walkaround we all went to the chosen places that we have chores to create work for this is one of the zines I picked up from the  travel man. I really like the layout and how the illustrator has really use the space this could be a possible idea for me and my work but its early days   I will continue on researching and playing around with a variety of layouts and local artists have created scenes to help me

monsters research

Monsters  Research

another book that I've shown great interest in is this its a variety of monsters and vile disgusting creatures from the Victorian and Japanese era. in this book there was a variety of images and designs of which I was interested in but there was a few really, eyes  on one of the pages there was a variety of creatures that the Victorians believed would be conceived if you slept the  animal trade in the design these were sick and really creepy and this is what really give me the more version to start my drawing from the research that I've collected so far as being clear to me where I can begin.

these are two of the creatures that was part of briefly the woman left I believe is illegal and one on the right is a chicken or an ostrich is a really weird is crazy think things like this existed in the Victorian era it makes me laugh by the same line is of truly opened my eyes and helped me with my creative process in designing my creatures of fear.
another creature from the book I believe that this is meant to be a camel or some type of bird I don't know what is but downright it's crazy regulate the use of colour and how the artist has placed a creature within a background or an environment that blends the creature to the page these key points in which I shall analyse  to make a really good strong start in my creative process

in my book I Wanna make a variety of crazy monsters and masks could be mask  the mosque idea is still an idea that something I will pursue in my process won't stick on strongly to my monsters these masks are truly inspirational firework create masks I would really like to create some inclusive trippy and crazy something with a voodoo feel. I believe the mask and the right is to be Asian of some sorts or Japanese may be an omen mask.

's crazy you see things like this and books is truly give me the backbone in which I will pursue to achieve in my brief I feel I've built up a great deal of research that will help me on my journey. it's true what the Sir eyes really do look back I get a feel of the thing and if you haven't seen the thing Watch it  not the remake the original a film based in the  Arctic. the creature in the film take some human form and does sauna really create fashion but enough of the frame I will be talking about the thing in my following post.

artist research goya

Goya

goya  was my first artist by looking names are really passionate about the size work I really like how he has shown fear  and expression of these work his inky black pencil drawings and painted work is truly inspirational this has given the backbone and insight to what I should be achieving toward my book fear. the book itself has a variety of imagery by being draw to the crazier images  with me looking the fears as my chores in brief and design this is one  of my key artists is critical that I get a variety of vice and styles to start my drawing process.

the picture on the left has really inspired me I like the subtle line work and the aggressive ink work I like how we shorn expression within the facial feature  it gives you that  feeling  sanity  but this picture itself bonkers. for that I feel draws me to this image to really powerful statement and I will try to achieve this within my process

this man is crazy once again I been drawn one of religion this book but this time both sides reflect I love how the scientist shows expression just got to left the man's face of pure fear really gives you that sense of being there  with him a look on the butchers face does a look of relief you can tell that sick man is really enjoying that these are really key features that I really need sure my process and design work.

Alex Pardee Artists research

Alex Pardee

I looked into Alex Pardee. my reasons behind look at the this  style is very iconic in the way I'm trying to pursue my style  and  create my zine and  print work I really like the way alex uses inks and  waters the paint  down to give a  drippy and gloomy effect and blinds natural colours to make weird and strange colour that  creatures that I feel a very iconic and inspiring to my development.

small film about Alex pardee  talking about his style and how he found his feet in the industry much watch

some of Alex's work this is probably one of my favourites regulate the use of bright colours and exaggeration in which he has created this piece these are the things I need to issue in my zine  exaggeration is a key when creating a successful creature would have in the background and the knowledge to create the creature. is the first step in and been successful with this design.

another piece by Alex not a great fan of this one but I really like the idea and concept behind the design of a cold Avery's man emerging from this strange creatures body  sort of like the  creatures from the friends this must be some of Alex's earlier work as the callers and is strong as his inky washed out designs.  close something to new explorer my design work I could use a range of inks pencils pens but I feel like my work would benefit from this by experiment with this in my book to sure some development.

skinner illustration artist research

Skinner

of rice has really inspired me on my journey is Skinner and I start works in Los Angeles as partners zero friends club is where consist of bright colours  and trip illuminations  variety  creepy  monsters the size has been one of the front and most inspiring on my journey aside Alex Skinner has became a real inspiration towards my design process.

a small film which contains a variety of Skinner's work which I feel there are inspiring and has been a real inspiring thing to watch and has helped me towards my final process.

skimmers work consists of using real struggles that humanity goes through on a day-to-day basis I feel this is a key point  in which I  could lead my designs into my monster creations using real human struggles gives it some edge towards the final  process.

I was also really inspired by Skinner's large-scale work which you can see in this picture is large-scale with being a fan of large-scale  is clear that I will be wanted to do a variety of large-scale prints which I will do alongside my zine.

paul jackson artist research

Paul Jackson

Paul Jackson  lot different to the other  artists like skinny and Alex Paul's style is more traditional in a sense his use of blackened grey is  truly inspiring just looking at one of his designs really looking course and seeing the amount of  detail is crazy this is probably what strongly Paul as an artist.

also I find Paul Jackson's layouts of his designs really interested in how we places death and animals and reptiles together to create some type of religious form I find this a key point in my research in dire eyes struggle to find a balance between the two I think following one type device is enough to fuel my idea was being interesting to find and see of artist at work in a different way but still other similar outcome
